Transcendent Authors

Back in 2020, I joined with 9 other authors to form a group that would soon name ourselves Transcendent Authors. Our goal was to write short stories and try our hand at the world of self-publishing.

The experiment was successful. We learned, and continue to learn, a lot. Above all, it is not just about the writing. There is much much more to becoming a published author.

The first anthology, Tolerance, was a critical but not commercial success. It remains our best-seller. It includes two short stories from each of us. When we finished, some authors moved on while others stayed for the next one.

We continued writing two stories per book for the first four, then went to one longer short story per book. The group has gained and lost a few authors but still regularly meets, critiques each others work, and puts out an anthology each year.
