I have seen 2 different commercials for Google Plus on television. This is remarkable for 2 reasons. The first is because having had a TiVo since 2004 (and their crappy DVR cousins since the second TiVo went out a year ago) I don't watch commercials (Super Bowl excepted). The second is because it just seems strange to advertise for social media on television. Is this a move to make the more viral social media mainstream? Even just seeing a Google commercial seems odd, as they have never had to advertise before. As I have heard and oft-repeated, I've never head or anyone Yahooing anything.
