A story in Two Photos

Today on my way home from work I was complaining to Ginger about how my day ended. It was a busy day, filled with item after item to take care of. I may have said something about not having had enough time to stop and defecate. I certainly didn’t use such clean language.

Then I admitted that perhaps I was just a little bent out of shape because I didn’t get to run all the errands I needed to on the way home. It isn’t that I had to fold my ironed laundry to put it in the frunk (which should have been an issue) because there’s no way to hang it up in my car. It was more that I didn’t make it to the library before they closed the door.

Then I said the real reason might be that I couldn’t put the top down because it might start raining. I get claustrophobic in my Porsche when the temperature is over 42 degrees Fahrenheit (first world problems, I know).

So then it rained, and I felt a little vindicated. And then God said, “Quit your bitching, dumbass!”

And then he doubled down.

So technically, the second rainbow was in the first shot, but when you’re taking a picture and driving you don’t have the ability to concentrate on framing the whole scene for aesthetic values and/or cinematography.

Another great day to be on the right side of the grass. Plus, I broke my consecutive days breathing streak again!
